Wetzel's Pretzels Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDD)

Wetzel's Pretzels is required to disclose its franchise terms, fees, and financial condition annually in its Franchise Disclosure Document. With 12 editions spanning 2016–2026, this page provides the source record of how the company's fees, obligations, and unit footprint have changed over time — citable research, exactly as filed.

A Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) is the disclosure the Federal Trade Commission's Franchise Rule requires Wetzel's Pretzels to provide to any prospective franchisee before a sale. Its 23 numbered Items set out the company's history and leadership, initial fees and estimated investment, ongoing obligations, territory terms, any financial performance representation, outlet counts, and financial statements, and the document is refiled each year.
